On July 23, 2006, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, the World's Record for Longest Petanque Marathon was set at 40 hours and 9 minutes. On May 24th, 2008, at the Rochester Heritage Festival in Michigan, we shall attempt to beat that record.
